New Orleans’ Robinson Wins Southland Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

first_imgMen’s Basketball Player of the Week – Bryson Robinson – So. – Guard – Mesquite, Texas Robinson averaged 21.5 points this past week for a Privateers squad that improved their Southland record to a league-best 4-0 start. UNO claimed wins against Lamar (10-7, 2-2 SLC) on Wednesday and McNeese (5-9, 2-2) on Saturday. The defending Southland champion will put its undefeated record to the test at Stephen F. Austin (13-3, 2-1) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT. A win would make just the fourth time in program history that UNO begins conference play 5-0 and the first time since 1992-93.
